It’s been a rainy day in East Tennessee. Honestly, the rain put me in a grumpy mood. I woke up exhausted from a busy weekend and the rain didn’t help matters. I wanted to pull the covers over my head and pretend I didn’t have to adult today.
As a financial coach, I’ve worked with people who have done that very thing with their finances. They get overwhelmed and quit. They quit opening the mail. They quit answering the phone. They quit hoping for a better future because they quit dealing with their past. Sound like you?
When people contact me they usually feel embarrassed and ashamed of their financial situation. They feel broken. They stopped believing that their finances would ever get better.
One of my greatest joys as a coach is seeing my clients go from hopeless to hopeful! I love hearing the tone of their voices change. My clients are relieved when they find out their situation isn’t hopeless. They usually just need a plan. We work together to develop a plan to help them pay off debt and reach their goals.
