Stressed?

Confession time!  I’m a recovering control freak!  The news causes me to have a lot of anxiety and uncertainty.  I didn’t start watching the news or reading about the COVID until the second week of March.  My husband keeps me somewhat informed as to what’s going on in the world.  So, I’m not totally in the dark!  I’ve found myself watching more news and reading more and more news reports over the last few weeks.  This has made more aware and heightened my anxiety level.  My level of anxiety is directly proportional to the amount of news I consume.

Does the news have the same effect on you?

Here are some ideas for relieving stress:

🌟  Pray

🌟  Meditate

🌟  Read

🌟  Take a walk

🌟  Go for a drive

🌟  Play with your kids.

🌟  Keep your normal routines as much as possible.

What are you doing to keep your mind off the news and relieve any stress you are feeling?
